DIRECT 2014 received an exceptionally overwhelmed response and witnessed a footfall of 300plus. The event was well covered in more than 20 mainline newspapers in Delhi and outside. The efforts were appreciated by the Government, Industry and Media. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution announced that he had convened an inter-ministerial meeting network to discuss entire gamut of direct selling as there is need to evolve a very transparent and consumer friendly business model for the sector . On the occasion Shri Paswan also released a study brought out by FICCI and KPMG on various aspects by Direct Selling sector in India. The hall was packed with people to listen Industry leaders giving their suggestions on issues & concerns pertaining to Direct Selling. Needless to mention that the conference was a huge success reaching out to innumerable.
FICCI Direct Selling Task Force is back with its annual mega event and is organizing DIRECT -2015”, on 8th December, 2015 at FICCI, New Delhi. FICCI Direct Selling task force will also be launching a FICCI – KPMG compilation of reports on ten different Indian States with respect to the Direct Selling Industry in that states. This is a unique study which would act as a reservoir of data and desired policy directives.
